As a Property Manager at WDP, you will oversee the technical management of a diverse building portfolio in France. Acting as the main contact for tenants and contractors, you will handle maintenance, renovations, compliance, and long-term sustainability initiatives while supporting operational excellence.
Here’s what you’ll be up to
As a Property Manager, you will report directly to the Country Manager France and take on the following responsibilities:
- Technical management of a portfolio of various buildings across France, acting as the main point of contact for tenants, contractors, and official organizations.
- Organizing interventions when technical issues arise, deciding whether to involve contractors, and ensuring full follow-up.
- Long-term technical prevention and management.
- Managing and coordinating maintenance contracts, as well as monitoring legal obligations related to inspections, fire safety, etc.
- Preparing annual schedules and budgets for maintenance and repair work, reporting both internally and to tenants.
- Regularly organizing tenders for market-compliant maintenance framework contracts in collaboration with your fellow property managers. Periodically evaluating existing procedures within the team (e.g., incident reporting, damage claims), updating them if necessary, and informing tenants.
- Acting as a ‘Project Manager’ for renovation projects: organizing price offers, selecting contractors, supervising works and on-site safety, and ensuring final delivery.
- Co-responsibility for monitoring and overseeing repair and maintenance work for photovoltaic installations.
- Supporting the sales team through regular tenant interactions by sharing business opportunities. In terms of sustainability, proactively collaborating with the sustainability engineer.
- Proposing and implementing initiatives to further professionalize property management.
- Administrative management: updating As-Built files, compliance certifications, correspondence, requests for quotes, order tracking, invoice approvals, etc.
Here’s your profile
- You hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a Bachelor’s degree in Construction (preferred).
- You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- You are fluent in English.
- You are stress-resistant and highly organized.
- Your communication is clear and assertive, with a strong client-first mindset, which is essential.
- You are dynamic, entrepreneurial, professional, and adopt a no-nonsense approach.
- You are a team player but can also make independent decisions.
- You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of Planon or similar applications is a plus.
