Corporate Communication Manager
As Corporate Communication Manager you will be at the heart of our company, connecting our investors and other stakeholders with our results, operations and growth ambitions. Your communication will play a pivotal role in bringing our Investor Relations (=IR) communication to a higher level, attracting capital and ensuring transparency.
Here’s what you’ll be up to
This position involves among others co-developing financial communication content, investor events and contribution to the overall quality of our external communication supporting the Head of External Communications and the Head of Investor Relations and Capital Markets, both part of the company’s Investor Relations team. You will be responsible for:
- Co-development with the IR team of financial communication in the context of results announcements, press releases, investor events and related website and social media communication, resulting in the further enhancement of the communication with existing and prospective investors and other stakeholders. In this context you bear the responsibility for the realization of the Annual Report.
- Assist the Head of External Communications in the development and implementation of the Corporate Communication Plan.
- Creation of presentations for external publication, for Senior Management and for the Board of Directors, and publishing thematic reports on WDP’s operations, markets, trends, …
- Navigating the ever-changing financial landscape of reporting within the context of being a listed entity by adopting best practices to strengthen stakeholder engagement and ultimately drive growth of the company.
- Setting up and managing a communication database to improve the quality and quantity of external and internal communication and the development of thematic reports and content: e.g. analysis of real estate environment and data insights for financial communication, macro-economic environment, listed peers, reporting standards, WDP financial data,…
- Organization of capital market days, investor property tours and other investor relation events.
Here’s your profile
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Dutch/French/English. You are an expert in translating complex info into clear and concise messages and visualization in PowerPoint.
- You preferably have a master’s degree and you have held a similar position for at least 2/3 years. Experience within listed companies and knowledge of ESG is an extremely strong asset.
- You are analytically minded, demonstrate a strong financial interest and the necessary intellectual curiosity.
- You are very familiar with MS Office and you are eager to work with a document management system that enhances efficiency.
- You are a strategic and quick thinker, a confident communicator and an efficient problem solver.
- You like to work to tight deadlines, to multi-task and set priorities driven by your excellent organizational skills.
- You work proactive and autonomous, show initiative and you are a real team player combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and a direct, no-nonsense approach.
