As Head of Project Development you take care of overseeing the planning, management, and execution of all development projects within the organization. You ensure that projects are completed efficiently, innovatively, sustainably, and in alignment with the company’s standards and strategic goals. You will introduce cutting-edge techniques and drive continuous improvement in the development process. 

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the organization towards more complex large integrated projects in close collaboration with the Project Development Teams in the countries. 
• Introducing and evaluating new construction techniques, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency, sustainability, and project outcomes. Stay up-to-date with industry innovations and drive their adoption within the organization.
• Lead technical due diligence processes starting from land acquisition to feasibility studies, cost analyses, evaluations, environmental assessments and surveys, etc.
• Collaborating with the internal departments (thinking along to ideal solution for the customer), and with external partners like architectural offices, study agencies, contractors, … Acting as an intermediary between the customer and the internal teams to help translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Overseeing project budgets and managing vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement.
• Steering the Project Development teams and maintain close contact with all the WDP entities in the different countries we’re active in. You report to the COO of our company.

• You have a master’s degree in civil or construction engineering and you’ve previously held a similar position for five years;
• You have strong knowledge of modern construction techniques, project management tools, and industry and sustainability trends;
• You have the ability to translate your innovative, visionary and strategic approach into practical, efficient daily operations;
• You are an excellent team player and people manager with outstanding communication skills in Dutch, English and French;
• You are a proactive problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset and can-do mentality; 
• You are perfectly at home in an entrepreneurial and fast-growing business environment;
• You are able to manage multiple large-scale projects concurrently.
