Bernard Boel

Bernard is an entrepreneur with in-depth sector knowledge of logistics and supply chains accrued with his hands-on work as managing partner of companies within the Shipit Group, that operates in inland shipping, water-bound transport and related terminal, transhipment and storage activities. He also brings an extensive understanding of multimodal freight flows and logistics operators, an entrepreneurial mindset and a background as a commercial engineer.

Bernard’s hands-on perspective anchored in the logistics sector provides the Board of Directors with a valuable perspective that supports WDP’s long-term strategy and close collaboration with customers. He is the son of the late Anne De Pauw, daughter of founder Jos De Pauw and sister of the late Tony De Pauw.
