Celebrating 25 Years of Success on Euronext.

2024 marks a significant milestone in the history of WDP as we celebrate our 25th anniversary of listing on Euronext Brussels. This morning, we had the honor of opening the trading day with a traditional bell-ringing ceremony, symbolizing our journey of growth and success over the past quarter-century.

As we reflect on this momentous occasion, we’re filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our shareholders throughout these 25 years. Our CEO, Joost Uwents, expressed this sentiment perfectly: We are 25 years young at the Brussels stock exchange, and I think we can say that we exist thanks to Euronext and the BE-REIT regime.”

WDP’s success story is built on a unique foundation — the combination of being a Belgian REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) and a family-owned business.

I can only say that I’m as proud as a peacock.”

Tony De Pauw, Co-CEO WDP

This pride is well-deserved, considering the remarkable growth and success WDP has achieved over the years.

The BE-REIT framework, coupled with our public listing, has provided us with a robust platform for growth. As Joost Uwents explained, It is a unique Belgian framework on which a lot of real estate companies in Belgium could grow.” He further emphasized the advantage of having a family as reference shareholders: This is the best of both worlds. The family gives us long-term persistence, and the stock exchange gives us short-term sharpness.”

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also marking a transition in leadership. Tony De Pauw will be stepping down as co-CEO on July 1st. However, his valuable experience and extensive knowledge of the logistics real estate sector will not be lost to WDP. Tony will continue to play an active role within the company as a special advisor, particularly focusing on the further development of our activities in France and Germany — a key driver in our recently announced growth plan #BLEND2027.

While our long-standing tandem as co-CEOs may be formally coming to an end, I’m convinced that the drive, experience, and knowledge Tony will offer our company in a different role will remain invaluable for the further development of WDP.

Joost Uwents — Co-CEO WDP

As we ring in the next chapter of our journey, we’re filled with optimism and excitement for what lies ahead.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our shareholders, partners, and team members who have been part of this incredible journey. Here’s to the next 25 years of innovation, growth, and success!
