Decathlon, the international sports retail chain, was the first to move into the Bucharest Stefanesti site after the construction of their warehouse in 2017. Just six years later, several other companies followed, including international retail companies Auchan and Metro, as well as tool manufacturer Yato, among others. In 2023 WDP Park Bucharest – Stefanesti has 14 tenants.
Climate and biodiversity
On the site, WDP is fully committed to caring for the environment. With a capacity of 13 MWp of solar panels and other green measures, WDP aims to decrease the carbon footprint during the entire lifecycle of the project with approximately 180 000 tonnes of CO2. Moreover, the ambition is also to boost biodiversity. The thousands of local trees and shrubs planted in and around the area should strengthen fauna and flora in the coming years.
