Here’s what you’ll be up to

As WDP continues to strengthen its position in the Romanian market, we are looking for a Project Development Manager to lead and deliver logistics and industrial real estate developments across Romania.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of development and construction projects, from feasibility and planning through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
You ensure that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and according to WDP quality standards.
You coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineering consultants, contractors, suppliers and public authorities.
You oversee design development, permitting activities and technical decision-making while ensuring compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
During the construction phase, you manage tendering processes, negotiate contracts, monitor project execution and proactively address technical, commercial and operational challenges.
You closely track budgets, schedules, risks and project performance while providing regular reporting to management.
You act as WDP’s key representative throughout the project lifecycle, building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality logistics real estate projects.

Here’s your profile

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related field.
You have at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience managing construction or real estate development projects and a proven track record in delivering medium to large-scale developments.
You have a strong understanding of construction management, project planning and scheduling, cost control, procurement and contract management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
You are experienced in coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, authorities and project teams, and know how to drive projects to successful completion.
You have strong financial acumen and are comfortable managing budgets, monitoring project performance and supporting investment decisions.
You combine excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
You are a proactive leader with strong decision-making abilities and a talent for managing risks, priorities and change in a dynamic project environment.
You have a solid understanding of Romanian permitting and construction regulations and quality, health & safety requirements.
Experience in logistics, industrial or commercial real estate developments is considered a strong asset.
You are proficient in MS Project and Microsoft Office and are comfortable working with project reporting and collaboration tools. Experience with AutoCAD, SAP and SharePoint is an asset.
You are fluent in Romanian and have a good level of English.
