A second family: Bogdan Moldovan’s five years leading Property Management at WDP Romania
Since Bogdan Moldovan started at WDP in 2021, he’s found much more than just a workplace: he’s found a second family. Leading the Property Management team in Romania has taught him that reliability, teamwork and showing up when it truly matters are at the heart of WDP. He looks back on the past five years, and ahead too.
When I joined WDP 5 years ago
I began my WDP adventure full of enthusiasm, and was genuinely, positively surprised by the warm welcome from my colleagues and the team. From day one it didn’t feel like ‘just a new job’, it felt like becoming part of a group of people who look out for each other. I was looking forward to being part of the WDP family, and contributing in a role where you can really make a difference.
What WDP means for me today
Today, WDP means a second family to me: friends, stability, a sense of security, and a place where I know I can count on people, just as they can count on me. It’s a dynamic working environment, but people always stay at the centre. That combination is rare, and it’s exactly why I enjoy working here so much.

How I see WDP in the future
Looking ahead, my wish is actually quite simple, but no less important for that: that the working environment and atmosphere stay as balanced and positive as they are today. Because growing is important, but it’s the company culture that makes people stay. And I hope that in the future too, we keep cherishing what makes WDP so typically WDP.
The project I’ll never forget
There’s no single project that stands out. What has stayed with me most is the responsibility, and the pride, I feel as head of what I like to call our ‘ambulance team’, or ‘response team’. That’s how I’d describe our Property Management team. We’re the people who are always ready, during the day, at night, on weekends and on holidays. When something happens, we’re there. Fast. Calm. Practical.
For me, the real understanding came when I realised what that responsibility actually means. Tenants and colleagues count on you in moments that are often stressful, urgent and unpredictable. And when you manage to solve a problem, sometimes small, sometimes bigger, you see the difference immediately. You restore safety, continuity and peace of mind. What I’ve learned from that? That reliability is a form of leadership. And that being there when it truly matters is something to be proud of.
