The 16,000 square metres will largely be set up as storage space for medicines intended for Dutch hospitals and Alliance Healthcare pharmacies. WDP is betting on a highly automated inventory system in this warehouse. Moreover, the warehouse also caters to the specific needs for securing and storing medicines at the right temperatures.

WDP plans to finalise construction as early as the first quarter of 2024. A challenge, as almost as much time is needed for construction as for installing the automation. The warehouse will be operational from July next year.
