First pile of new DHL Express Service Center in Courcelles

Friday 30 September, WDP officially launched the construction works of the brand-new DHL Express Service Center in Courcelles. It was a memorable event, and signals the beginning of the next chapter of the company’s Belgian success story.

WDP designed and developed this logistics center, which boasts impressive traits in terms of operational efficiency and sustainability. Come July 2023, this new distribution center will replace the current Service Center in Charleroi, and become DHL’s central hub in the Hainaut province.

Delivery of this new, extremely sustainable logistics hub is set for Q2 2023. The construction works were launched with a festive firsts pile event which both local mayor Caroline Taquin, CEO of DHL BeLux Danny Van Himste, and WDP’s Country Manager Belux & France Kristof De Witte attended.
